All funds raised during my ride across Australia went to either the Australian or New Zealand Heart Foundation depending on the donor’s wish. It was a thrill to be named Best Individual Fund-raiser for 2011 by the Queensland Branch of the Australian Heart Foundation. Special thanks to EVERYONE who supported my ride.
"COMPETITIONS"
OK everyone – here is your chance to win something that is very VERY yummy!!!!!
Way back on Day 1 – I mentioned that Pat detoured past the Perth factory of Morish Nuts. There she met Julian, who kindly gave us some boxes of product that have been absolutely divine!!!! We received bags of their Morish “Savoury Nuts” and Morish “Sweet Nuts” – and what a way to end the day / start the evening. They go very well with Sauvignon Blanc, a lager beer, a cup of coffee or a glass of water,
in fact – they are just great anytime!!
Julian has offered 3 special packs for 3 lucky people to win!!!!
Here is how - it is simple - guess my odometer reading when I cross state borders!! I'll be crossiing three of them so there are three competitions to enter!! - keep scrolling down to see details!!
There are plenty of hints given in my daily reports - so you should be able to be close!!
Now for the rules:
1. One email per person for each “border crossing” – you can put 2 odometer readings on that entry
2. Entries to be to 2 decimal points – ie 25.45 kms
3. Entries to be emailed to – [email protected]
4. Entries to be received by the closing date and time shown above
5. Entries open to everyone – but the prizes can only be delivered in Australia – (so you can enter no matter what country you are in – but put my address in and I’ll share the prize with my cycling buddies back in Queensland!!!!!! – hahahahaha!!!)
6. Judges decision is final – and who is that judge – ME !!!!
7. I didn't really want any rules – no arguing or fighting, just a happy way to win some great product from Morish nuts!!!
Best of luck!!
